Live: Regulatory Wizard Includes State-Specific Recommendations

Last summer we introduced the Regulatory Wizard to guide administrators through creating a curated training plan for various audiences, such as Clinical, Medication Dispensing; Non-Clinical, Patient-Facing; Physicians & Practitioners; etc. (review here). Currently, the Regulatory Wizard returns applicable regulatory requirements and recommended courseware aligned to federal agencies like CMS, OSHA, HHS, and the EEOC. Our latest enhancements are now live, including:
  • Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities have been added to the Setting dropdown.
  • The parameter selection experience is now dynamic. As you select your setting, audience, and training cycle, additional fields will appear to refine your results, including state and assessment type.
  • On the results screen, you can now filter by regulatory body, making it easier to zero in on the requirements most relevant to your organization (preview here)!
NOTE: While the state dropdown will appear across all settings, state-specific content is only available for Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living Facilities at this time. We are actively expanding state-specific coverage across additional care settings and will continue rolling out new content throughout the remainder of the year.

POLICY MANAGER

Live: 2026 Joint Commission Policy Templates

The 2026 Joint Commission Policy templates are now live in Policy Manager! Use these templates as guides or create and customize a new draft directly from the template library.

Live: Bulk Policy Export

Admins and Owners can download all published policies for easy offline storage or backups. Policies can be downloaded for your entire organization, or just from specific binders or folders.

Live: Bulk Create for Read Acknowledgement

You’ve always been able to create a Read Acknowledgement/Attestation Request for a single policy, but now customers can create Read Acknowledgements in bulk for every published policy within a binder or folder. Create, configure, and send out Read Acknowledgements across dozens of policies in minutes.

Expected Q2: HLC App Switcher

Users can now seamlessly launch Policy Manager directly from the App Switcher (9-box menu) within HLC. This integration provides a faster, more intuitive way to navigate between HLC and Policy Manager—making it easier to access and manage policies without disrupting your workflow.

Expected Q2: Show Read Acknowledgements in HLC To Do List

Read Acknowledgements are now fully integrated into the HLC To-Do List. When a Read Acknowledgement is assigned, users will see it alongside their other tasks in HLC—giving them a single, centralized place to stay on top of required actions. Selecting a Read Acknowledgement will take users directly to the specific policy in Policy Manager to review and attest.

Expected Q2: Immediate Email Notifications for New Tasks

Users will now receive immediate email notifications when new workflow tasks are assigned (e.g., review, approval). Previously delivered in weekly or monthly summaries, these real-time alerts ensure users can take action right away—helping policies move through the workflow faster and reducing delays between stages.
